AI in the Classroom, Programme Terms

These terms govern your participation in the “AI in the Classroom” Founding Educator programme (the “Programme”) run by the operator of Alea Learning (“Alea”, “we”, “us”). They are in addition to Alea’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply. By applying to or taking part in the Programme, you agree to these terms.

• Places are limited and offered at our sole discretion. Applying does not guarantee a place.
• We may ask for more information before deciding, and we may close applications early.
• You confirm that the information in your application is true, and that any video or link you share is yours to share and is set to public so we can view it.

• Free access to Alea for you and your participating students for the duration of the Programme.
• Onboarding, a private group for support, and help from our team, in person where available or remotely.
• Digital workbooks on using AI in the classroom.
• A welcome kit sent to you.
• On successful completion, the Certified AI-in-Classroom Educator credential.
• After the Programme, the option to join the Alea Ambassador programme with a discount. Ambassador terms and any discount are set at our discretion and may change.

What is included may change if we need to adjust the Programme. Free access applies only during the Programme unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

As a participant, you agree to:

• Use Alea with at least five of your students, regularly, through the Programme.
• Attend a short onboarding and the brief weekly check-ins.
• Give us honest feedback during the Programme.
• Provide one testimonial and one end-of-programme case study, including a short video, at the end.
• Obtain the consent described in section 5 before any student takes part.

If you are employed by a school or institution, you are responsible for making sure your participation is permitted, and for getting any approval you need.

• Anyone under 18 is a child. Before a child uses Alea as part of the Programme, and before we use anything about a child in a case study, you must obtain verifiable consent from that child’s parent or guardian, using the consent form we provide.
• We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not use a child’s data for tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising.
• Unless full consent for public use is on file, case studies default to de-identified detail: first name only, no faces, and no combination of details that would identify a specific child.

By taking part, you grant Alea a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the feedback, testimonial, case study, quotes, and materials you provide, together with your name, role, and institution, to run, describe, and promote the Programme and Alea, including in applications to investors and partners.

Any use of a student’s data, image, or work is subject to the consent in section 5. You can ask us to stop using a specific contribution going forward by contacting us, and we will do so where it is reasonably possible.

The Programme is educational and experimental. It does not guarantee any particular grade, score, learning outcome, or result for you or your students. Alea is provided on an “as is” basis, and our liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.

• You can leave the Programme at any time by telling us.
• We may remove a participant who is inactive, who does not meet the commitments in section 4, or who breaches these terms, and free access may end when participation ends.

We may update these terms or the Programme. If we make a significant change during a live cohort, we will tell participants. These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
